Apple introduced its feature called “Dynamic Island”, which works in harmony with the new perforated screen design seen for the first time in iPhone models and allows the section with the cameras to be used for more than one job.
While many Android users complain that this feature is not available on their devices, a Xiaomi theme developer announced that he is working on the theme that will bring the Dynamic Island design to Xiaomi phones. Thanks to Android’s free development opportunity, the developer also stated that the Dynamic Island notification style can be used in the MIUI interface with the theme called ‘Grumpy UI’.
The “Grumpy UI” theme, originally called Chinese, is not yet available to everyone. However, according to the developer’s tweets, while the theme only has Chinese language option, it is estimated that other popular languages will be added soon.
In addition, the developer stated that the related theme has not yet passed the approval of the Xiaomi theme unit, and if it is approved, it will be published and available in the Xiaomi theme store. So it is currently awaiting approval. While many Xiaomi themes had Dynamic Island style before, SugerTheme, the last theme with this style, was recently removed. With this decision, users even started to think that Xiaomi wanted to block the Dynamic Island design. If the theme is approved by Xiaomi, users will get the design they want again!
